I have NO WORDS for Andrew’s new “Release Me” video. NONE. And not in a good way. I’ve been a fan of his for ten years so nobody get all defensive fan-girl on me and tell me I should support whatever he does, because I have loved him unconditionally for a very long time. But this? I think it’s an indication that he’s ready for a change, and I sincerely hope that means closing the Jack’s Mannequin chapter and doing his own thing because he is a very talented individual. Okay, I guess I did have a few words. #sorryimnotsorry
A rant, if I may…
Jack’s new music video made me really sad. It’s a great music video, but I feel like the message behind it was that Andrew is tired of the monotony; the big corporations, signings, fans being overly eager, and just, I guess, the fakeness of the music industry.
